Evening shows open at 7pm and start at 8pm and finish around 10:45 each night. For family shows door open at 1pm and begin at 1:30pm until 3pm. Times are subject to change although you will be updated of this prior.
What if an act doesn't appear?
All of our line ups are subject to change without notice, fortunately this doesn't happen often. If it did we will do our absolute best to provide a suitable alternative. Please note we will not refund tickets based on a single act not appearing.
Can I get a refund?
We don't offer refunds (only in exceptional circumstances, at management discretion). This is an industry standard on events. Of course in the unlikely event we have to cancel a show you would be entitled to a full refund.
Is there a bar?
Yes there is a fully licensed bar on site, please note you can't bring your own drinks. The bar works with a token system to speed up service times. Token can be bought as and when from a separate stand throughout the event. The bar will remain open until 11pm each evening.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
The venue is completely wheelchair accessible, and has an accessible toilet. Please email us or use the contact form if you have any specific requirements - admin@liveworldne.co.uk
How does seating and tables work?
Our VIP seating has a table between each few seats, this seating is the first three rows in front of the stage and is first come first served. Our general admission seating is unreserved and in rows. Due to the numbers of people we can't provide everyone with a table.
What does a VIP ticket include?
It includes seating in the first three rows, one drink token per person, table service before the show and during breaks, a guarentee of table seating as well as your VIP wristband.
Is there heating in the marquee?
We do our best to heat our marquee using multiple heaters however we are in Consett and it can get a little chilly, please dress appropriately for the weather.

Camping

Can we stay overnight?
For the first year at Consett Comedy Festival we are delighted to offer pitches to stay on site! These are limited for the first year.
What about Live in Vehicles?
Camper vans and motorhomes are welcome and there is a dedicated area for Live In Vehicles. One permit per vehicle, not per person. Each Live-In Vehicle pitch will measure 6m x 8m which is sufficient space. Any Live In Vehicle combinations which require more total space than 6m x 8m should contact the festival in advance to discuss this.
What facilities do you have?
Toilets - We have over night portable loo's located between the campsite and live in vehicle area. The main club house facilities will be open during the day. Showers - The rugby clubs changing room showers will be open during the day, these will be separated into male and female facilities, each changing room has two sinks, open showers, changing area and two toilet cubicles. Water - There is an outside tap located by the outside bar which is free to use. Waste disposal - We have bins on site all weekend. We don't offer chemical waste disposal on site.
Is there a policy for fires?
Campfires and BBQs are strictly prohibited, the pitch is used all year round for sports and other events. Any damage to grass bevasue of a campfire or BBQ will incur a £250 fine. By buying a pitch you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Camping Stoves are permitted, and we wholeheartedly encourage people to use either solid or liquid fuelled options which are not only much safer but more environmentally friendly too. If you use a gas canister supplied stove (butane etc) please ensure that you bring only the minimum amount of gas required for your stay and both always use and store these items appropriately.
Are there any noise restrictions?
We ask everyone to be respectful of others during their stay, we understand some people will stay up later than others but ask that no loud music or anything which could be deemed as a nuisance be done after 12am. The team will monitor this and should there be any repeat offenders you'll be asked to leave immediately without a refund.
What about tents?
If camping in a tent, whilst we do not operate strict pitch sizes, please use discretion to be fair to everyone and bring a tent that is no larger than 2-person per camper, e.g. no bigger than a 4-person tent for 2 people, 6-person tent for 3 people etc. This will ensure everyone gets a fair space, as if everyone brought 8-person tents for 2 campers it would reduce the number of camping tickets available. For safety, to avoid the risk of vehicles driving between occupied tents, all cars will be parked together in the club car park, for duration of your stay, so no long walks carrying your camping gear.
What about Caravans?
Unfortunately due to the space we have available this year we are unable to offer this.

Thursday 2nd May - Check in between 4pm and 7pm. Friday 3rd May/Saturday 4th May and Sunday 5th May - Check in between 12pm and 7pm. All guest must be off site by 11am on Monday 6th May. What about food and drink?
You are free to come and go from the festival site over the weekend via the pedestrian gate, our vehicle gate will be locked out side of our check in times. There is both a Morrisons and tesco extra with 7 minutes drive, within walking distance there is a newsagents.
